Join Jacobs as we deliver critical water infrastructure projects across Victoria. As our Engineering Services Panel/Program Manager , you'll lead key programs for Melbourne's premier water authorities, building strategic relationships while ensuring exceptional project delivery.
In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the primary interface between Jacobs and our water authority clients, driving both service excellence and business growth. You'll represent our organisation at industry events, staying ahead of sector developments to position us as thought leaders in Victoria's water infrastructure space.
Working with our award-winning Water Infrastructure team across Australia, New Zealand and globally, you'll:
Drive Strategic Client Relationships - Cultivate connections at senior levels within water authorities, identify growth opportunities, and translate client needs into actionable strategies
Lead Program Delivery Excellence - Oversee project performance, ensure adherence to schedule and budget requirements, and maintain the highest standards of delivery across our portfolio
Build High-Performing Teams - Develop and mentor team members, promote collaboration between core and specialist resources, and create succession pathways that strengthen our capabilities
Ensure Partnership Governance - Work with our Executive Leadership Team to maintain strong governance frameworks that support sustainable client relationships

Here's what you'll need
- 15+ years of experience in water infrastructure engineering consultancy with a strong track record working with water authorities
- Proven success managing complex water infrastructure projects and programs
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing engineering professionals
- Established connections within Australia's water sector, particularly with metropolitan authorities
- Deep understanding of the local water infrastructure landscape and regulatory environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Strategic mindset with ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities
