The opportunity
As an Inventory Controller, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining inventory systems to support operational continuity. This role ensures that everyday consumables, critical spares, and strategic stock are readily available across our depots to support maintenance and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control processes.
Manage ordering, delivery, and storage of essential items to meet operational needs.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
Support stocktake processes and ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
Provide operational support to depots, including spoil management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise stock levels and procurement efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse management.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
Forklift licence (desirable).
