The opportunity
Please note this is a fixed term opportunity until end of August 2025.
The Business Analyst will collaborate across the Operations and Delivery Solutions function of the business with a focus on water network operations, water quality response and field services capability. Daily, you will closely work with a diverse range of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and change analysts to investigate, analyse, develop, and implement new ways of working at GWW.
Responsibilities
- Investigate business requirements using various tools including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process mapping ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Gather and analyse information from various sources to design and implement a new project model.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and validate their information needs, business drivers and functional requirements.
- Develop briefing packs, reports, presentations and other artefacts as needed to communicate the progress and intention of the program.
- Coordinate and lead program meetings and workshops, as required, and support the development of meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Business Management, Commerce or Engineering) or equivalent experience/ qualifications
- Previous experience working with water utilities and asset maintenance would be ideal.
- Ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group combined with strong workshop facilitation skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills complimented by the ability to communicate processes and complex information, to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability in the implementation of significant change transformation programs
