Our Purpose
At SUEZ we are passionate about environmental services and our ability to impact the world we live in.
For almost 160 years, SUEZ has supported local communities and industrial companies in the management of essential services such as water, waste, and air quality.

As such, SUEZ produces drinking water for 66 million people worldwide, recovers 2 million tons of secondary raw materials per year, and generates 3.1 TWh of renewable energy from waste.

In our ongoing management of the ecological transition and climate change challenges, SUEZ will rely on the expertise and commitment of its 44,000 employees (particularly in France, Italy, Central Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia) to offer high-value-added and customized environmental solutions to all its customers.

SUEZ’s expertise allows, for instance, its customers to avoid the emission of 4.2 million tons of CO2, thus improving their carbon footprint and their impact on climate.

Our Vacancy

At SUEZ ANZ, we're looking for a dedicated HSEQ Advisor to drive excellence in health, safety, environment, and wellness practices. In this role, you’ll play a key part in implementing our HSEQ Management System, ensuring safety across all sites and supporting project teams in meeting legal and ethical obligations. You’ll lead risk assessments, develop hazard mitigation plans, and participate in investigations and audits. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll help shape a strong safety culture and deliver tailored wellbeing education and training. Your efforts will ensure every worker returns home safely while enhancing overall safety standards across the business.

Essential requirements

With over 3 years in HSEQ roles or similar positions, you’ve built a solid foundation in keeping workplaces safe and compliant. You hold a Diploma (or equivalent) in Work Health & Safety, a qualification that’s not just a piece of paper but a testament to your dedication to creating safe work environments.

Your journey also includes obtaining key certifications, like the Workcover Accreditation Return to Work Certificate, ensuring you’re equipped to manage return-to-work processes with precision and care. You’re tech-savvy too, with advanced computer skills and the ability to navigate system applications.

But what truly sets you apart is your deep understanding of WHS legislation across ANZ—knowing the ins and outs of relevant Regulations, Standards, and Codes of Practice. This knowledge enables you to advise, guide, and influence safety practices across the board, helping organizations stay compliant while fostering a culture of safety.

This is more than just qualifications—it’s your experience and passion that will make you a key player in driving HSEQ excellence.
