We have an exciting opportunity for an admin superstar to join our team at North East Water!


The Board Support Officer provides high level administration support to the Governance team and Board of Directors through:

  • Preparing meeting agendas.
  • Minute taking.
  • Arranging travel, accommodation, and meeting / conference arrangements.
  • Preparing correspondence and liaising with directors.
  • Assisting with director travel and reimbursement claims.
  • Ensuring board related documents are up to date, such as Committee memberships, director contact details and a matrix for meeting arrangements.
  • Uploading meeting documentation.
  • Maintaining the board calendar.
  • Facilitating and assisting with the review process of corporate governance policies and procedures.
  • Other administration duties as required.


This role is a full-time ongoing opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

Key Selection Criteria

  1.     Experience in providing high level administration support.
  2.     Experience in preparation of agendas and minute taking.
  3.     Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  4.     Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set and manage both your own priorities and that of others to meet set timeframes.
  5.     A high level of computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite and calendar-based applications.

Position Information 

  • An attractive salary range of $78,527 to $88,313 plus 11.5% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
  • This is a full time, ongoing position.
  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a police check and/or pre-employment medical and functional testing where applicable. 
  • Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
