The opportunity
We now have this new role available! As the Records Officer you will ensure our records are managed efficiently and maintained in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, industry standards, and legislative requirements, including all aspects of the physical and digital record lifecycle.
The role will see you provide exceptional customer service, handle information requests promptly, and support various administrative tasks within the team including the mailroom and at times travelling to different sites to access records.

Responsibilities
- Perform manual handling activities for records, boxes, and files, including archiving and disposal.
- Maintain registers of archived material stored onsite and offsite to ensure the necessary integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all information.
- Scanning, filing, and coordinating of records to meet business requirements and organising records for storage.
- Provide administrative support to ensure Electronic Document Record Management Systems (EDRMS) is maintained.
- Provide support to ensure GWW’s Records and Information are managed in compliance with PROV and other obligations.
- Provide general records and information management ‘help desk’ functions to the business.
Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of recordkeeping standards, practices, and legislation.
- Demonstrated abilities in data entry and Microsoft 365 products and operational knowledge of key information systems including SharePoint, Records365 or ServiceNow would be advantageous.
- Confidence in providing exceptional customer service with a high level of confidentiality combined with diligence around attention to detail and following required compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration and sentencing of organisational records.
- Sound planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and within agreed timelines.
- Able to box and move physical records in line with HSW systems and processes.
