The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to safely and efficiently manage and deliver water infrastructure projects in Castlemaine, Kyneton, and surrounding areas while based in Bendigo 3550. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technical and Innovation team and be key in delivering projects across multiple locations to approved scope, quality, schedule, and budget.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead, direct and partner with internal/external stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently
• Establish strong working relationships and coordinate resources to deliver project works
• Mentor and develop team members' project management skills
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and Veolia procedures
• Plan, deliver and review projects through all phases from initiation to handover
• Prepare project documentation (requirements, scope, plans, estimates, contracts etc.)
• Manage project progress, milestones, risks, schedule, quality and costs
• Identify and manage legal, regulatory, safety and Veolia requirements
• Conduct risk assessments, HAZOP studies and implement safety management plans
• Oversee commissioning, start-up activities and operational readiness
• Manage project supply chain including procurement and vendor performance
• Provide accurate reports and forecasts on project deliverables and budgets
• Ensure "Safety in Design" in all solution development phases
• Conduct lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement

What you'll need to be successful

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field
• Experience managing infrastructure projects over $1M
• Proven track record in leading and delivering successful projects
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
