We are currently seeking a motivated & critical-thinking Project Manager to join our collaborative and consultative Project Delivery team. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning, executing, and overseeing projects for our clients, playing a key role within our organisation. As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and deliver small, medium, and major-scale projects, consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations. You will also play a proactive role in supporting the national team, continuously seeking ways to enhance our service delivery to clients and colleagues alike.

What you do

Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Commercial, will work closely together to ensure project objectives are met and stakeholders are satisfied. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion. 

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop plans to manage the project in accordance with its budget, timelines, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with our clients by facilitating meetings and workshops with the client's employees, and other stakeholders to understand their context and needs for the project.
• Conduct analysis, draw insights, and form hypotheses and solutions
• Work closely with our clients, to provide regular updates and facilitate timely decision-making.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver the required outcomes
• Present findings, and recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management
• Identify and support Sequana with the winning of any new consulting assignments.

Who you are

Candidates should possess:

• Tertiary qualifications or relevant credentials in project management, engineering and/or business administration.
• 5 – 10 years of industry experience with a thorough understanding of infrastructure projects, preferably within the Water sector.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a consulting/advisory capacity.
• A strong knowledge of project management tools and software.
• Excellent organisational, communication (both verbal and written), and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyse data and draw insights within an ambiguous context.
• Ability to perform under time pressure whilst providing high-quality outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen including experience in contractual management, tendering processes and business development. 
• High level of business and personal ethics, together with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
